Bryansford Cottage is the slightly misnamed country house located at the edge of Bryansford Village surrounded by lovely mature gardens. Inside the main house we have three bedrooms accredited by the Northern Ireland Tourism Board for bed and breakfast accommodation. These have all been recently remodelled and redecorated to provide quirky styling and a luxurious stay.
Rooms
Field – a family room consisting of a double bed and single bed with views over fields towards Slieve Meelmore.
Forest – a king-size double bedroom with views over Tollymore Forest Park.
Mountain – a family room consisting of a double bed and single bed with views over Slieve Donard, Northern Ireland’s highest mountain.
All rooms have ensuite shower rooms and come with tea and coffee making facilities. Hairdryers and toiletries are provided. Travel cot and high chair available for our younger visitors.
Breakfast is served between 7.30am and 9.30am. We always have a cooked breakfast option (changes often) – the house specialty is fluffy American pancakes served with maple syrup. They are the stuff of legend.
We have a large guest area downstairs – this is where breakfast is served, also features a chill-out area where you can relax and recharge. In winter we have a woodburner lit 24/7 so you can hang out in front of the fire. You are also welcome to make use of the gardens.
